On April 18, Guangdong Southern Film Engineering Technology Research Institute, the first film industry think tank in China, was set up in Guangzhou. At the same time, the first high-end dialogue on Film Engineering Technology in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Bay area was held. Song Wenwen, executive deputy director of TASCII, attended the high-end dialogue and the unveiling ceremony as a member of the expert group.

In the field of art depth and multi-dimensional research, more cross-border and integration are possible. The Academy of arts & design of Tsinghua University and Guangdong Southern Film Engineering Technology Research Institute have reached a strategic cooperation. They will jointly carry out research on color evaluation standards in visual effect engineering.
