On July 5, the opening topic and expert seminar on color evaluation standards of visual effect engineering was held in the Academy of fine arts of Tsinghua University. The meeting was presided over by Song Wenwen, executive deputy director of TASCII. Chen Jiang, a senior scientific and technological expert and senior engineer in the film industry, Professor Song Limin, director of the Department of environmental art and design of the Academy of fine arts of Tsinghua University, Professor Wang Guobin, Professor of the school of art and design of Beijing University of technology, Professor Shu Xiao, Professor of the Central Academy of fine arts and director of the animation center, and Wang Bin, a senior film colorist of yuesexuan culture media (Beijing) Co., Ltd., attended the seminar as experts.
The research project of visual effect engineering color evaluation standard aims to combine science and art, integrate color and emotion, sort out user needs and industry pain points, and then study the best playing physical parameters of image equipment through professional, scientific and systematic psychophysical experiments, so as to become a professional, standardized, academic based, aesthetic conscious and humane visual effect engineering color evaluation system, which provides the basis for image recording, color correction The color adjustment work of broadcasting creates a solid theoretical foundation and promotes the high-quality and rapid development of visual effect engineering experience.
During the meeting, the participating experts had a heated discussion on the research objectives, contents and methods of the project. Zhu Shiyang, the project specialist of TASCII, Cheng Ming, Lu Tianqi, Li Yuji, Chen Yaoxiang and other graduate students participated in the meeting as the project team and reported the project research framework.
