The students from the various walks of life, such as home decor, mobile phones and other industries, come together to the Color Research Institute of the center for art and science, of Tsinghua University, start the first day of study.
In the morning, Mr. Song Wenwen, the deputy director of the color Research Institute, began the training with a color class: the color physics, physiology and psychology; the different perspectives of color cognition between China and the West; from the perspective of history and culture, the development context of people's cognition and application of color; the introduction of emotional research, color preferences and other advanced research projects, as well as color harmony, color trends and other related knowledge.
Then, Mr. Zheng Linqing, from the Tsinghua University art and design experimental teaching center, introduced the relevant information on the laboratory of the Tsinghua University art and design experimental teaching center, and led you to visit the CMF related laboratories, such as transportation, metal art, fiber art, paint technology, ceramic and so on.
In the afternoon, Professor Yan Yang, Professor of the Institute of color research and professor of industrial design department, teaches the course of industrial design and creative thinking. In the course, Professor Yan explained the historical starting point of industrial design, the development and evolution of humanism / commercialism / postmodernism and so on, the relationship between the social and historical development and the industrial design, expounded the core value of industrial design and innovative thinking, and further discussed the unique mission of industrial designers in the upgrading of chinese manufacturing industry.
