2011-06-16 Industrial Interaction—X-Rite

On 16th June 2011 Mr. Liang Sun, LA Director for Automotive & Coatings of X-Rite and Mr. Frank Zhang, Applications Support Manager for industrial of this company visited TASCII for the planed technical meeting. Zuo Hengfeng, Associate Professor of Industrial Design Department, Tsinghua University and researchers of TASCII participated in and exchanged their insights.

The meeting mainly focused on color applications in the automotive industrial supply chain. The multi-angle spectrophotometer of X-Rite has been introduced specifically that can be used for measuring interference pigments. After that, both of TASCII and X-Rite succeeded in getting to a common view on colour science research and application in automotive fields.
