2011-04-29 TASCII activities – part 3

On 29th April 2011 Professor Su Hua and research students from the Departments of Industrial Design, Cross-information, Animation and Environmental Design attended a colour course organised by TASCII. The course introduced colour science as a subject area, the applications of colour in design and the current advances in the field. Students had opportunity to use the equipment and facilities at the TASCII colour laboratory and were encouraged to participate in activities and research projects at TASCII. It is noted that the students understood well the importance and application of colour in the design industry and, at the end of the course, they were able to apply numerical representations to communicate colours for design products such as vehicle accessories.
