Dr Phil Green

 

He is a Reader in Colour Imaging at the London College of Communication in the UK, where he carries out research in colour imaging and supervises research students in the area.

 

He has an MSc from the University of Surrey and a PhD from the Colour and Imaging Institute at the University of Derby. He has written and edited several books on colour and the graphic arts, including Understanding Digital Color, Colour Engineering and Color Management

He is a Fellow of the Society for Imaging Science and Technology; Institute of Physics. He has been UK Principal Expert to ISO TC 130 WG4 Media and Materals since 2006. He is also a member of CIE Technical Committee 8-10 Office Lighting for Imaging.

Dr Green has been Technical Secretary of the International Color Consortium since 2005.
