Professor Lindsay MacDonald

Professor Lindsay MacDonald is Principal Lecturer and Director of Enterprise for the School of Printing and Publishing at London College of Communication, responsible for developing research activity and collaborative projects. He is Chairman of The Colour Group (Great Britain) and Director of MacColour Limited, providing consultancy and system solutions in a range of digital colour imaging applications.

His research is in the application of digital imaging science and technology to the capture, processing and presentation of photorealistic scenes. Research areas include colour science, human visual perception, cross-media image reproduction, display characterisation and 3D image capture.

He is a member of the International Executive Committee of the International Colour Association (AIC). In this context he is Chairman of the Organising Committee for the 12th Congress, which will be held in the UK in 2013. He is also Co-Chair of the Electronic Visualisation and the Arts (EVA) Conference.
